Arriving on an island does not unlock fishing. Pay the access NPC, and unlock the previous island first. Fast Travel, a separate pass, only moves you between islands you have already opened.
Order and prices
These Coin gates come from an early October test-server walkthrough and match an October 6 island video for Jungle, Desert, Snow, and the 4,000,000 step. Read the quest board if a number changed.
| Step | Area | What the gate asks |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Starter Island | Finish the skill and fishing tutorial |
| 2 | Jungle Island | 40,000 Coins after you arrive |
| 3 | Desert Island | 180,000 Coins, Jungle already unlocked |
| 4 | Snow Island | 900,000 Coins and 3 legendary fish caught on Desert |
| 5 | Volcano Island | 4,000,000 Coins and 3 Snow fish. Captions name Frozen Crow Dragon Fish, Frost Top, and Frostmas Ray, any rarity. Those English names are translations |
| 6 | Island 6 | See the conflict below |
Jungle is the best checked gate. Spawn the free Truck at the Boat Merchant on the Starter dock, drive to the Jungle pier until “Entered Jungle Island” appears, then pay Tarzan, the Jungle Island Guide, 40,000 Coins. You can land before you can pay. Jungle has its own rod merchant, fish merchant, and daily quest NPC.
Island 6 conflict
One walkthrough asks for Volcano already unlocked, 15,000,000 Coins, and three Volcano fish at narrated minimum weights of 1,200 kg, 2,000 kg, and 2,500 kg. The translated species names for those three weights were not captured cleanly.
An October 4 Island 6 guide instead asks for 15,000,000 Coins and three legendary fish, including a heavy Dragon Fish variant.
Keep both sets in mind and turn in whatever the live dock lists. Do not sell a heavy Volcano fish until you have read that gate.
Walkthroughs call island 6 Frozen Seal or Fossil Island. Use the name on your map.
What to keep
Snow's reported gate wants three Desert legendaries, not Jungle legendaries. White Tiger, on Desert, wants three Desert legendaries that each weigh at least 1,000 kg. The same three fish do not automatically pay both turn-ins.
A creator walkthrough also says only one quest is active at a time. If your log works that way, finish or drop the current quest before you accept a race. Check whether dropping it deletes progress.
Open Index and Quests before you leave. Write down species, rarity, origin, weight, and Coins. Distant island names can stay hidden until the boat gets closer.
